God’s love is never outdated nor is his intention to meet you at your points of need as many and humanly overwhelming they may be. Sometimes we tend not to establish that connection that guarantees us access because we are simply not seeking divine help. We assume it ought to simply happen.
Seeking and making our request known to heaven is a pattern of worship itself. When we ask God to come to our rescue we are recognizing God as the only authority there is that is capable of doing. God has no competition. He is God by himself and is demanding that we approach his throne of grace with humility with a contrite heart really hungry for salvation.
God is merciful. He knows the burdens you bear and the weakness you may be struggling with. He will come through for you. In Hebrews 4:12-16 the Bibles reminds us of God’s reliable help
*For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
*Declaration:* Dear Father, i look to you amidst the chaos in my life. Let your mercy speak for me righting the wrongs therein. May i find grace to help me when i need it most
